Local Gym Offers Free Workout To Furloughed Government Workers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A local gym is extending free workouts to government workers who have been temporarily laid off because of the government shutdown.
Philadelphia Sports Clubs (PSC), New York Sports Clubs (NYSC), Boston Sports Clubs (BSC), and Washington Sports Clubs (WSC) are offering laid-off government workers a free pass to all of the company's 161 fitness facilities and no-fee group classes.
To take advantage of this offer, furloughed workers must show their government ID at the front desk.
The offer begins immediately and lasts through the duration of the shutdown.
The membership is available at all hours, except Monday through Friday 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Must be 18 years or older and have a photo ID.
