TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Two Trenton police detectives wounded in a shootout early this month will be the beneficiaries of a fundraiser being staged by a city-based minor league baseball team.
The Trenton Thunder say they will donate all the proceeds from certain online tickets sales for Tuesday night’s home game. Detectives Edgar Rios and James Letts were shot Aug. 15 by a man facing arrest in a domestic violence case.

The Thunder are the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees.
