Man's Legs Run Over By SEPTA Bus In Tioga

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a Route R SEPTA bus accidentally ran over a man's legs after he fell Wednesday night.

According to investigators, the incident happened near 23rd and Venango streets around 10 p.m. in North Philadelphia's Tioga section.

The bus was pulling away from an intersection when the unidentified man ran up to the back door, and fell as he was banging on the window.

The rear wheels of the bus ran over the man's legs.

He was rushed in stable condition to Temple University Hospital with what are said to be minor, non-life threatening injuries.
