3rd Child Dies In 2-Alarm Fire In Delaware County


CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) – Officials say the young boy who was in critical condition after a two-alarm fire in Chester Wednesday has died (see related story).

According to authorities, 4-year-old Moses McKnight was taken off of life support Friday afternoon.

The fire also claimed the lives of two girls, identified as 6-year-old Bella McKnight and 9-year-old Amajahy Ferguson by sources.

On Wednesday night, family gathered with candles and tears for the two little girls, cousins killed in the fast moving house fire.

The family had been busy planning Amajahy a 10th birthday set for Saturday.

Neighbors are organizing a relief effort for those who survived.
