NORRISTOWN, Pa., (CBS) – Police are investigating after a car crashed into the front porch of a home in Norristown Monday night.

The incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. at the 500 block of Hamilton Street.

Eyewitnesses say a car driving down Marshall Street lost control, crossed over Hamilton Street, hit a car, flew across one yard and into the front porch of a home.

The driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

The fire department had to install beams to temporarily stabilize the collapsing porch.
