PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say they have no motive in an overnight Kensington shooting that left a man hospitalized in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds.

Detectives say shots rang out around 11 p.m. in the 2500 block of North Howard Street.

Officers arriving on the scene found the victim suffering from at least seven gunshot wounds.

The gunman fled and remains at large. So far, police have no suspects, but investigators are hoping neighborhood surveillance tapes may surface that will produce some leads.
