Christie, Guadagno Have Busy Day On Campaign Trail
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Republican Governor Chris Christie and Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno are traveling across New Jersey to rally supporters and meet with party workers just days before the state holds its primary elections.
Guadagno was in southern Jersey on Saturday morning, visiting GOP offices in several counties there before heading north for similar visits.
Meanwhile, Christie started his day in Burlington County. He also planned to meet with patrons at diners in East Brunswick and Westfield before concluding his day with a rally in Morris Plains.
Overall, Christie and Guadagno were due to make stops in nine of the state's 21 counties on Saturday.
New Jersey's primary elections are scheduled for Tuesday.
