After a wild 5-3 loss in Montreal in MLS action on Saturday, the Union returned to Chester on Tuesday and pulled out a 2-1 victory over the Ocean City Nor’easters in the third round of U.S. Open Cup play. That allows them to advance to face D.C. United in the fourth round of the Open Cup on June 12th.

But next on the agenda is a return to MLS play on Saturday as the Union visit Toronto F.C.

In MLS action, Philadelphia is 5-5-3 on the season and that is good for fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
