Mother, 5-Year-Old Twins Injured In Hit-Run Accident On Lancaster Avenue

BRYN MAWR, Pa. (CBS) – Police are searching for the person responsible for a hit and run accident that injured a mother and her 5-year-old twins.

On Thursday, April 25th at 1:30 p.m., the Bryn Mawr woman, 46, was crossing Lancaster Avenue at Bryn Mawr Avenue with her children when they were struck by a black pickup truck.

The truck did not stop at the scene and continued driving westbound on Lancaster Avenue.

The victims were transported to Bryn Mawr Hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. One of the children was taken to Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Delaware overnight on Thursday for a head injury and was in stable condition on Friday.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a full-sized black pickup similar to a Ford F-150.
