Son Of Delaware Courthouse Shooter Sent Back To Prison

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- A federal judge has revoked the probation of a man whose father killed two people at a Delaware courthouse before taking his own life, sentencing the son to six months in prison.

The judge said Tuesday that 46-year-old David Matusiewicz also will spend four more years on supervised release after finishing his prison time for repeatedly violating his probation on kidnapping and fraud charges.

While on release, Matusiewicz is barred from any contact with his three daughters, whom he took to Central America in 2007 in a bitter custody dispute with his ex-wife.

Matusiewicz was arrested Feb. 11 after his father killed his ex-wife and a friend before a scheduled child support hearing.

Prosecutors said Matusiewicz was prohibited from being around firearms but knew his father always carried a gun.
