Delaware High School Teacher Charged With Sending Sexual Texts To Student

GEORGETOWN, Del. (CBS) – Police say a Delaware man has been arrested for sending sexual text messages to a teen.

According to officials, 36-year-old Stanley Daniel Zakrociemski sent sexual text messages to a 17-year-old who attended Sussex Technical High School.

Authorities report an employee at the school uncovered the text messages that Zakrociemski, a teacher at the high school, was sending to the student.

Police say the messages began in March of 2012, but the relationship between Zakrociemski and the student never became physical.

The student turned 18 in December of 2012.

Zakrociemski was charged with five counts of sexual solicitation of a child under 18 and was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $100,000 secured bond.

The identity of the student has not been released.
