Seasonal, Outdoor Market Moves Indoors For First Ever Winter Market
By Mike Dougherty
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A popular seasonal, outdoor craft market is moving indoors Sunday.
The Clover Market normally calls Ardmore home. They will set up shop at the 23rd Street Armory in Center City for the first ever Winter Market.
"I describe it as sort of a mash up of antiques, vintage and handmade items," says founder Janet Long who handpicked 55 vendors to participate.
"Our goal is really to fit somewhere between a flea market and the Philadelphia Antique Show. It's accessible, it's affordable, but the quality level is definitely there," explains Long.
Tickets are $5 and it runs from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 22 South 23rd Street. And come hungry because some of Philly's best food trucks will be parked outside.
If you're not sure how much cash to bring, Long says many of the vendors accept credit card payments. For more information, visit www.theclovermarket.com.
