How To Celebrate Birthdays With A Tailgate Party In Philadelphia

dsc_0036.jpeg

Week 15 of the NFL 2012 season has Philadelphia football fans still celebrating Sunday's victory against Tampa Bay. With the long and painful losing streak finally over, Eagles fans will be out in full force at the Linc Thursday night, hopeful for a win against the Cincinnati Bengals.

You get together with your friends, enjoy good food and celebrate at tailgate parties, so why not celebrate your next birthday with a tailgate party? Whether home or away, watching the game as part of an Eagles tailgate party is a great way to have some fun.

What better venue for an Eagles tailgate birthday party than the Linc? You can throw the party yourself as part of your regular tailgate routine, or you can let someone else do all the work and pass the ball to the pros. For about $30 a person, you and your guests will be able to sit back and enjoy the fun with a professional tailgating company, like Philly Tailgate or Cav's Catering. Both operate from the Jetro lot at the Linc on game day, and all you'll need to do is show up for the fun.

If there is no home game at the Linc on the day you plan to celebrate a birthday, take the party to at a local restaurant or bar, like Chickie's & Pete's Crab House and Sports Bar or Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse. Enjoy the game on TVs you can see from anywhere in the bar, and you won't miss out on that great tailgating food, like Cav's award-winning wings or Chickie's & Pete's signature crab fries.

Want to tailgate in style either at the Linc or at home? Rent your own tailgating outfit for the day. There are trailers for rent that come with everything you'll need to celebrate in style, from TV and sound system to grill, keg beer system and even your own bathroom. For fans that really want to go all out, some companies will provide you with your own staff of tailgate attendants, guaranteed to make it a birthday celebration to remember.

Taigating is good anytime, anywhere, even at home. Whether in your backyard, garage, basement or living room, the décor has to be Eagles green. Ask your guests to come dressed for a game, and once you have your Eagles logo balloons, streamers and banners in place, you'll be ready to start the fun birthday bash. Check with your local supermarket or deli for catering options, and don't forget the cake. Most area store bakery departments and local bakeries are experts at Eagles-themed cakes and cupcakes.
