Amtrak Taking Reservations For Modified Service Between New York - Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Amtrak is now taking reservations for modified service between New York City and point south, including Philadelphia and Trenton.

Passengers are urged to make reservations or obtain electronic tickets online or through smartphones before traveling to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station or New York's Penn Station.

Amtrak says services to and from New York City are subject to delay while repairs continue.

Passengers are encouraged to call 800-USA-RAIL or visit Amtrak.com/alerts for Service Alerts and Passenger Notices. Schedule information and train status updates are available at the Amtrak.com home page.
