Police Search For Northwest Philadelphia Dunkin' Donuts Armed Robber
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who robbed a northwest Philadelphia Dunkin' Donuts.
According to police, the incident occurred around 12 p.m. on Tuesday at the Dunkin' Donuts located at 5753 Wayne Avenue.
Police say a male entered the store and walked behind the counter to the drive-thru area.
Allegedly, the suspect then pointed a black handgun at an employee and took an undisclosed amount of cash from two registers and fled the scene.
The suspect has been described as a black male with a medium complexion, 5'9" with a stocky build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt that has a white ADIDAS symbol on it, black sweatpants with white stripes on the side, a tan bandana covering his face and white and blue sneakers.
