CAPE MAY, N.J. (CBS) – Authorities say one person was killed in a house fire in New Jersey early Tuesday morning.

The deadly fire happened at about 6:30 a.m. inside a home in the 1200 block of Washington Street in Cape May.

According to investigators, a man in his 50s, whose name was not immediately released, was killed in the fire.

The cause of the fire was deemed accidental after an investigation.
