Suspects Sought In Northeast Philadelphia Home Invasion
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for several suspects in connection to a home invasion in Northeast Philadelphia early Friday morning.
The incident happened in the 5100 block of Walker Street in the city's Frankford neighborhood.
According to investigators, the victim told police he was walking to his car when he ambushed by several suspects. Police say the suspects forced the man inside his home and stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.
There were reports that the victim was kidnapped from the scene and dropped off at another location, but police did not immediately confirm that information.
There were no reports of any injuries. The victim was taken to Northeast Detectives to be questioned.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
