PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A study by the researchers from the University of Kansas claims that people can accurately guess someone’s personality from their shoes.

University of Kansas researchers asked a group of participants to submit photos of the shoes they wear the most. The researchers then had a separate group study the photos and answer questions about each owner’s personality.

The study found that the group examining the shoes were able to guess about 90 percent of the owner’s characteristics.

The study will be published in the August edition of Research in Personality.
