CAPE MAY, N.J. (CBS) – The Coast Guard rescued a man who capsized his kayak four miles off Cape May Point on the Delaware Bay Saturday evening.
At about 5:30 p.m., Coast Guard watchstanders received a report from a man named Jason Barnes that his friend, Thomas McCabe, went overboard and needed assistance.READ MORE: Police Asking For Public's Help In Obtaining Cellphone Video Of July 4 Parkway Shooting That Injured 2 Officers
A small crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May arrived on scene and transported McCabe back to the station.
Authorities say he refused medical treatment.
