Two Dead After Car Accident In Atlantic County
EGG HARBOR CITY, NJ (CBS) – Two men are dead after an early morning car accident in Atlantic County.
Around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, a Chevy Impala driven by Kevin Jepson, 21, of Lower Bank, was traveling north on Philadelphia Avenue north of Moss Mill road when the driver lost control of the car and crossed into the opposing lanes. The car then crashed into some trees on the other side of the road.
Jepson was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, 23-year-old Christopher Keating, Jr., of Egg Harbor City, was seriously injured and was air lifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he died Thursday afternoon.
The crash is currently under investigation.
