Citizen’s Bank Park has the second most expensive beer in the majors, behind only the Miami Marlins’ new park, according to the report.

Reactions from fans in South Philly are mixed.

“It’s sad the cost of food and beer down there. It’s a real turn-off.”

“It’s frustrating you pay good money, but at the same time you want to get good players.”

The report comes from TheStreet.com and Team Marketing Report.

Before you spill your beer in outrage, there is a catch: the reports looks at the price of “small beers.” Here in Philly, that so-called small beer is 21 ounces, so while $7.75 is $1.50 over the league average, the reports says, the per-ounce price of a beer here in Philly, is one of the best deals in the majors.
