Truck Driver Dead After Crash With School Bus In Toms River, 8 Injured

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (CBS) - Authorities are investigating a fatal school bus accident that left one person dead and eight others injured in Ocean County Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. in Toms River at Yellowbank Road and Ruby Drive where a pickup truck and a bus filled with students collided.
The driver of the pick-up truck, 60, was transported to Community Medical Center where he later passed away.
Authorities say eight people on the bus, seven students and the driver, carrying students from Toms River Intermediate School were hurt in the crash.
It is not clear how the accident happened at this time.
