5 New Rides Coming To Six Flags During 2012 Season

JACKSON, N.J. (CBS) – Six Flags Great Adventure and Hurricane Harbor will open five new rides for the 2012 season.

On Thursday, Six Flags in Jackson, NJ kicked off its 39th Season with an Opening Weekend presented by Lowe's.

During this 2012 season, the amusement park will introduce five new rides in Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.

Great Adventure will welcome SkyScreamer, a 24-story-tall extreme swing ride, Fender Benders, a bumper car ride, Déjà vu, a music themed scrambler, and Air Jumba, a flying elephant ride.

These four rides will make up the newly themed Adventure Alley section of the theme park.

Hurricane Harbor will welcome King Cobra, an intense racing tube slide, in July.
