Truck Crashes Into Bucks County Church

CROYDON, Pa. (CBS) - Two people were sent to area hospitals after a truck crashed into a church in Bucks County Saturday.

The accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas in the 600 block of Bristol Pike. The crash caused some damage to the flowerbed and to the front part of the church.

The unidentified driver was taken to Aria Health Torresdale Campus with head injuries, according to authorities. Additionally, a bystander was taken to Lower Bucks Hospital after reportedly suffering a seizure.

There is no word on how the truck lost control and ended up on the church's property. Authorities are investigating.
