Pennsylvania Woman Among Lottery Winners With Hopes Dashed

NEW YORK (AP) — Philadelphia nurse Jennifer Sze says she had resolved to cut back on playing the lottery and use the money for more important things.

But once everyone started talking about the record-breaking $640 million Mega Millions jackpot, she says her resolve weakened and she bought five tickets.

Thirty-two-year-old Sze says she often buys tickets once or twice a week. She says "If I keep buying it, maybe one day it'll happen."

But yet another loss Friday night left her disappointed and once again determined to try to save her money.

Sze can rattle off the minute chance of winning: 1 in 176 million for each ticket.
But, she says, "You know it's everybody's dream."

Three tickets sold in Illinois, Kansas and Maryland hit the winning number.

The winning numbers in Friday night's drawing were 02-04-23-38-46, and the Mega Ball 23.
