By Molly Daly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia authorities are still trying to positively identify the man whose remains were found Saturday in the basement of a vacant rowhouse in the Point Breeze section of the city.

On Saturday morning, workers demolishing the house in the 2300 block of Federal Street saw a skull under some trash in the basement, and called 911 (see related story and video). Philadelphia police found a clothed skeleton beneath the debris.

In the pants pocket, they discovered documents identifying an elderly man who had been missing since 2006. The medical examiner's office is working to positively identify body and determine the cause of death.
