Reporter: “What’s your idea of a dream playground?”
Amaya: “Swings and any place that a kid can have fun!”

Reporter: “Do you know what colors you want?”
Amaya: “Blue, orange, black, green and yellow.”
The fourth-grader’s drawings, as well as those from other students from the school, will be incorporated into the playground design.
School CEO Naomi Johnson-Booker says the new play space is a bonus for their new school. “Our school burnt to the ground last January and we built this school out a dream we had and it is a state of the art facility.”MORE NEWS: SEPTA Riders Held Up Phones As Woman Was Raped On El Train In Upper Darby, Authorities Say
Johnson-Booker says the new playground is thanks to a grant from Kaboom, a non-profit that is fighting to save play and sponsor, the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. The playground will be built by the community on April 26th.
