Mother Of Abandoned Baby Noel Arrested In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An arrest has been made in the case of abandoned Baby Noel.
Patricia "Dina" Crawley, 33, was arrested on Wednesday around 3:45 p.m. in the 2700 block of Croskey Street.
Police have been searching for Crawley, who allegedly abandoned her newborn baby on a North Philadelphia street corner, since late December.
"Baby Noel," as the infant was called, was found by two street cleaners inside a cardboard box in Strawberry Mansion on Dec. 21, 2011. The infant was just hours old and still had the umbilical cord attached.
Crawley is currently in police custody facing charges of Attempted Murder and related offenses.
