Police Announce Arrest Is West Philadelphia Grocery Store Triple Murder, Second Suspect At Large

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police announced on Friday a break in the case of a brutal triple murder inside of a West Philadelphia grocery store last September. Police have arrested one of the alleged gunmen and are on the hunt for a second suspect.
It's been nearly six months since two gunmen walked into Lorena's Grocery Store in West Philadelphia and killed the shop's owner, Porfiro Nunez, his wife Carmen and his sister, Lina. But on Thursday, police made a break in the case, arresting 27-year-old Ibrahim Muhammed, the man they say fired the shots that killed the three victims:
"He has been arrested and charged with three counts of murder and one count of robbery," said Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit Captain, James Clark.
Police are now on the look out for the second gunman, 29-year-old Nalik Sharif Scott. They say Scott fired the first shot that sparked the killing. There is an warrant out for his arrest.
"He is in fugitive status, he is considered armed and extremely dangerous," Clark said.
Police say surveillance video from robberies linked to the suspects helped provide the breaks needed to identify Muhammed and Scott.
