Police Probe Shooting Death Of Man In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are investigating the shooting death of a man Monday evening.

The shooting happened at about 6:30 p.m. in the 600 block of W. 26th Street in Wilmington.

When officers arrived, they found an unidentified male on the ground with a gunshot wound to his torso. The male was rushed to Christiana Hospital, but he was later pronounced dead.

The identity of the victim has not been released by police.
