Delaware Police Investigating Accident Reportedly Involving Two Pedestrians
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a serious motor vehicle accident that involved two pedestrians being struck in Wilmington.
Troopers responded to the scene of the accident on Philadelphia Pike around 8:15 a.m. Saturday morning. Initial information indicated that three people were involved in the crash. One person is reportedly dead, and two others were injured. They were transported to Christiana Hospital.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia Pike near Shipley Road has been reopened as of 2 p.m. There is no further information at this time.
