South Jersey Couples Robbed Of Wedding Photos

By Anne-Marie Green

The Burlington county consumer affair office has a mystery on its hands. Volunteers are trying to identify the couples in thousands of wedding photos and videos taken by convicted fraudster Jack Holton.

Holton was convicted of taking money for wedding photos but never delivering the pictures. Just last week his attorney handed over the images to the Burlington County Office of Consumer Affairs, but since Holton never kept records, the identities of the happy couples are unknown.

Volunteers are now searching the images for hints. They are looking for dates and names and then plugging away on the internet for contact information. Some of the photos go back to the late 1990s so it's been a challenge to track everyone down. They have managed to give some people their photos back, including one couple whose marriage had already ended in divorce.

There are images from some 500 weddings, far too many for the Burlington County consumer affairs office volunteer to find on her own. They need victims to come to them. If Jack Holton was you're wedding photographer and never got your photos, call the Burlington county consumer affairs office at (609) 265-5054
