Wyatt, Brown Lead Temple Past Central Michigan, 86-74

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Khalif Wyatt scored 23 points and dished out seven assists Saturday, and Aaron Brown had a career-high 21 points off the bench to lead Temple to an 86-74 win over Central Michigan.

Wyatt made all 10 of his free throw attempts and Brown made four 3-pointers for the Owls (4-2), who have won 23 straight at the Liacouras Center to set a school record.

Ramone Moore finished with 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and five turnovers for Temple. Juan Fernandez had 10 points and nine assists, and Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson had 13 points.

The Chippewas (4-3) cut the deficit to 51-37 at halftime on a 12-4 run, and scored the first six points of the second half to make it 51-43. But Temple went on an 8-0 run, capped by Moore's layup to push its lead to 16 points.

Trey Zeigler and Andre Coimbra each scored 22 points for Central Michigan.
