Eagles Fans Sound Off About Nightmare Season

By Paul Kurtz

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Anger appears to be giving way to apathy among Eagles fans now that the Birds' playoff hopes have disappeared.

It's been an uphill battle all season for the Eagles, but after Thursday night's embarrassing loss in Seattle, a lot of fans have decided to close the book on 2011.

"The season is officially over, unfortunately," said Eagles fan Richard Lee Snow. "We had high expectations going into the season, but it appears to be all for naught."

"I'm disheartened and I'm looking for some changes so that we can actually have football back in Philadelphia," added Leslie Reis.

Some fans want to see that change come at the players level, others want to see head coach Andy Reid fired. Then there are those who want to clean house.

"They need to change everything up in there," said one angry fan. "Back up the truck and load them all in and drop them off somewhere."

"I think Andy Reid is the Donovan McNabb of coaching," another fan added. "He can never get us over the hump. He's not going to get us the ring. Where are we now? We're nowhere."
