The incident happened in the 700 block of East Price Street at about 8:30.
Police say the unidentified deliveryman was called out to that location but grew suspicious when he realized it was an abandoned block. When he called back the number used to order the pizza, police say an armed suspect walked up to the deliveryman and demanded money. Authorities say the suspect managed to steal $100, but the situation quickly took a turn.READ MORE: Halloween 2021: Trick-Or-Treating Events In Philly-Area
