Health Watch: Special Veterans Day Delivery

MT. HOLLY, N.J. (CBS) -- A special Veteran's Day delivery today, which is also 11/11/11. 3 On Your Side Health Reporter Stephanie Stahl has details on an incredible birthday.

Babies born today will have a special place in history, but there was a delivery this morning at Virtua Memorial that will make the little boy's birthday even more memorable.

Jacob Anthony Saydeh was born at 11:11am on 11/11/11.

"I just wanted him out. I really didn't think I was going to last until 11:11am cause I felt I was ready to go now," describes Danielle Saydeh, Jacob's mother.

Jacob, who weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces, wasn't due until the 16th. But doctors decided he was getting big, so they induced delivery this morning and things happened quickly.

"Somewhere around 10:30am, quarter to 11, I said ya know if we're lucky maybe we can do this around 11:11am. So it just kind of worked out that way," said Dr. Bruce Levine, Obstetrician at Virtua Memorial.

Not only was Jacob born with all those 11's, it's also Veteran's Day. And his parents, Danielle and Christopher, are both in the Air Force, stationed at Fort Dix.

"I'll just describe this as the perfect baby, at the perfect time," said Christopher.

And there's one more 11 in the story, dad, Christopher Saydeh decided to join the Air Force because of 9/11. He said, "I used to work in the Trade Centers, I called out of work that day, so I kind of felt like I owed to somebody to join."

For Christopher Jr., who's 7, he's just happy to have a little brother saying, "He is adorable, he looks so cute. I want to hold him again." By the way he says 11 is his second favorite number.

There was also another delivery at 11:11 this morning, a baby girl at Abington Memorial Hospital.
