Reward Offered For Information About Fire At PECO Substation

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There's now a reward out for anyone who has more information about a small fire that was set at a PECO Substation in Northeast Philadelphia.

The fire occurred at 11:30 p.m. Monday night at the substation on 4601 Rhawn Street in the Philadelphia's Holmesburg section.

Investigators say its arson and now there's a $10,000 reward out for the public's help.

"ATF is looking for anybody with information that may have seen something, heard something; maybe aware of anybody that may have threatened the facility," said Stephen Bartholomew, Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Just last week, PECO officials say a suspicious package was found at the substation.

There were no reported injuries during the two incidents. Anyone with information is asked to contact the ATF at 1-888-ATF-FIRE.
