Delaware Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed

BEAR, Del. (CBS) - Police are seeking the public's assistance in finding a man who robbed a pizza delivery man Thursday Night.

New Castle County Police are currently investigating a reported armed robbery of a 26-year-old food delivery driver that occurred in the community of Pine Woods at approximately 8:50 p.m.

The victim, who works for a local Pizza restaurant, said that after making the delivery to the residence on the 600 block of Corsica Avenue, he made contact with an unknown subject who allegedly made a food order.

Moments later, the subject displayed a handgun and demanded money and the victim's belongings. The victim complied, handing over whatever cash he had.

Officers and a canine team attempted to track the suspect, but they were unsuccessful.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 30 to 35, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds, with short hair, wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
