Atlantic City Hosts Video Game Competition

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) - Atlantic City is playing host to four days of live competition, in video games. It's called eSports and even has e-play-by-play.

"He's not going 100% all-in here."

Describing championship level Starcraft II, a frentic Real-Time-Strategy game. Dave Ting, GM of eSports at IGN Entertainment, says the players are impressive.

"Gamers will be lined up on a podium, playing a video game against each other and these guys are so skilled that they will be able to do two, three things concurrently and each one of the things they do will be better than the average gamer."

This tournament at Caesars Atlantic City also features team competition in the game League of Legends. Fans attend in person and follow the games online. Ting is counting on success in AC.

"We would love to make Atlantic City eSports capital for the world."
