Thousands Of Runners Hit The Streets Of Philadelphia For The Rock-n-Roll Half-Marathon.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Thousands of runners hit the streets of Philadelphia for this year's rock-n-roll half-marathon.

Rock-n-roll marathons are popular with runners because the live music helps keep the adrenaline, and the legs, pumping.

Megan (photo, right) and her friends finished the Miami run and decided to give it another go in Philly.

"We wanted to do another one. It's a good reason to stay in shape. And the next one is going to be in Disney, then Nashville in April. So it's just something to stay motivated now that we're out of college."

While Megan and company are rock-n-roll veterans, it's a different story for Dana:

"My first half-marathon ever, and just a personal challenge I'm hoping to complete."

And she's really not looking forward to going to work on Monday.

"I might be able to move, I might not."

Better you than me, Dana.
