PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Blu-ray 70th anniversary edition of Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane is a high-definition transfer of the 1941 classic, which the New York Times says “comes close to being the most sensational film ever made in Hollywood.”

There’s also a Blu-ray upgrade of the six-film Star Wars saga, complete with alternate scenes and interviews with cast and crew.

Meek’s Cutoff is a recent arthouse drama dealing with the trials faced by women on the frontier.  Michelle Williams is featured.

And, if you’re fascinated by comic book adventure, look for Thor, co-starring Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins.

Also out this week, the sixth season of that TV favorite, “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia.”
