BLOG: $25 Restaurant Gift Certificates For $2
By Jim Donovan: Restaurant.com is discounting its gift certificates by 80% or more now through Thursday, June 30th. You can pick up a $25 gift certificate for as little as $2 for use at some restaurants. I found a $100 gift certificate for $10.
I've used the site in the past and it does offer some great deals. You simply search by zip code or city and a list of participating restaurants will appear. Once you determine which place you are interested in, you need to put the word SUMMER in the discount code box at checkout. The discount will then be applied and you can either buy the gift certificate or look for other deals instead.
Be sure before you purchase that you READ THE FINE PRINT. All the deals have various restrictions on what days the gift certificates can be used or what they'll cover on the menu.
