PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – OK, here we go – May is the month for plant sales galore at area garden clubs and arboretums.
Plant sales are so much fun because that’s where you’ll find more unusual plants – instead of the same old stuff you see growing in everyone’s yard. Plus, at area arboretums, you’ll get a chance to talk to garden experts who’ll answer your questions and help you choose the best plants for your place.
There will be lots of experts on hand at the Morris Arboretum in Chestnut Hill, at the plant sale this Saturday, May 7th. Or you get into the member’s preview Friday, May 6th by joining at the door – you’ll enjoy a free plant as a bonus, plus access to the Morris Arboretum for a year.READ MORE: Philadelphia Eagles Raise More Than $4 Million At 5th Annual Autism Challenge
