Mother, Daughter Caught In Trenton Crossfire

TRENTON, NJ (CBS) – A mother and her young daughter were rushed to the hospital after being caught in the crossfire in Trenton Wednesday evening.

The shooting happened shortly before 9 p.m. in the 100 block of Passaic Street near Calhoun Street.

According to investigators, two gunmen inside separate vehicles began shooting at each other when the 21-year-old mother and her three-year-old daughter were shot.

The mother and daughter were rushed to local hospitals where they are both reportedly listed in stable condition.

So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
