Starr's Granite Hill Restaurant Opens At Art Museum

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Stephen Starr opened his 25th restaurant. This one is located at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Philadelphia restaurateur Stephen Starr (in photo) has taken over the catering at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

"It's been our dream to get this," said Starr.

The main restaurant, called Granite Hill, just opened.

"Granite Hill was the name of this hill that the Art Museum is built on. Ashley Primis who works for me did some research and found old photographs of Granite Hill," Starr said.

Starr says it is strange to see photos without the Art Museum on it on the hill.

"It was very strange to see the area without the Art Museum, it started to make me think what was it like without City Hall, and basically it was like a forest," asid Starr.

Starr now has more than two dozen restaurants that he operates.

"It's sort of like kids. The more kids you have, the other kids sort of take care of the kids," he explains.

Starr recognizes he has 25 kids and says he loves them all equally.

"Equally, except for the one that makes the most money. I love that kid more," he said.

When asked which one that would be, Starr replied: "I don't know, probably Buddakan in New York."
