Delaware Woman Arrested For Stabbing Boyfriend During Argument

TOWNSEND, Del. (CBS) -- Delaware State Police have arrested a woman for stabbing her boyfriend during an argument early Saturday morning.

Ashley Hart, 23 of Middleton, was taken into police custody after an argument over wanting to end her relationship with a 20-year-old Townsend man turned violent.

According to police, Hart obtained a kitchen knife during their argument and stabbed the victim in the upper arm leaving a single puncture wound, just after 1:30 a.m.


Delaware State Police responding to the scene took Hart into custody and the victim was rushed to Christiana Medical Center for treatment.
Hart was charged with Assault and Possession of a Deadly Weapon, she was released on $33,000 bond.
