Kathleen Fitzgerald Camp, a mother of four, is president of three separate parent-teacher associations within the Cheltenham school district and executive vice president of a fourth.

She has spent years organizing fairs, programs, and activities to benefit Cheltenham’s students.

“At Cheltenham Elementary, there’s a fund that provides funds so that every student in the building gets a book whether they have money or not.  So that’s one of the things I’m most proud of.”

“I think it’s important for the students to see that their parents and other parents in the community care enough about their schools to take the time to be involved.”
