FBI Searches for Serial Bank Robber in Philadelphia
The FBI and the Philadelphia police department have identified a man they call a serial bank robber.
Investigators were searching for 31-year-old Joseph DiFalco.
The FBI says DiFalco's latest alleged robbery was around 9:30 Saturday morning. That was at a Citibank branch near the intersection of Cottman and Castor Avenues in Northeast Philadelphia.
DiFalco was also a suspect in two bank robberies last month. And he's believed to be behind the August second robbery at the Conestoga Bank in the 2400 block of South Broad Street in South Philadelphia.
The FBI says DiFalco has no fixed address, but he's originally from South Philadlephia, and may be staying in or around Northeast Philadelphia.
Anyone with any information was asked to call Philadelphia police or the FBI at (215) 418-4000.
