Consumer Report: Hiring a Company to Fix Air Conditioning

Getting your central air conditioning repaired can often leave you hot under the collar.
In the current edition of Delaware Valley Consumers' Checkbook readers were surveyed on their experiences with air conditioning and heating companies.
Thousands replied and 148 businesses were rated on everything from price to performance.
Checkbook president Robert Krughoff says that when checkbook shopped around they found wide price differences but the good news?
"There is really no relationship between quality and price. So you can get a very good price from a very high quality firm."
