NFL To Play Four London Games In 2017
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- More NFL games are coming to London.
The NFL announced on Friday that they have added a fourth regular season game in London for the 2017 season. Since 2014, the NFL has played three regular season games per season in London.
"London staging a fourth NFL game is fantastic news -- not only for the millions of sports fans who get to enjoy our iconic stadiums -- but also because it confirms our status as the go-to choice for hosting the world's biggest sporting events," Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said via NFL.com.
The Eagles were reportedly a prime candidate to play in London in 2015, but have never done so.
Teams and venues for 2017 will be announced at 8 a.m. ET on Tuesday, December 13 via Facebook Live at facebook.com/nfl.
